Apple Cinemas, Apple Theater Series, Respond To Apple The last lawsuit On the violation of alleged brands, As mentioned before Macromors. In a lawsuit, Apple claimed that Cinemas Apple and Sand Media tried to “take advantage of the high -size Apple brand” regarding “aggressive expansion at the country level.”
“We are committed to defending our brand, our history, and our ongoing right to work as a cinema in Apple – an identity that was clearly clear and fully compatible with all applicable trademark laws,” says Apple Cinemas. The company states that the name “reflects our roots, starting from our first site at Apple Valley Mall in New England” and that it is now the “best series of movie theater” in the United States.
“Apple Cinemas is a long -standing theater chain with no connection to Apple Inc. Our name reflects our geographical roots and has never aimed at proposing, or used to prove any affiliation with its brand. Moreover, consumer confusion claims are baseless.
While Apple claimed that Apple Cineemas and Sand Media “refused to communicate with the repeated Apple efforts to solve the matter amicably,” says Apple Cinemas “says we have responded reasonably and transparently to all legal contacts regarding this issue and continuing to focus on developing our business and brand, as is the case for more than a decade.”
Apple Cinemas, which has most of its sites in the northeastern United States, has opened its first location in the West Coast in San Francisco Earlier this year.
Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
