Anthropic’s Claude AI can now respond with charts, graphs, and other visuals

Anthropic’s latest update will allow Claude to be an AI-powered chatbot Create custom chartsAnd charts and other visuals during your conversation. If Claude decides that a visual is useful based on the context of the chat, he will insert the image inline, not in the side panel.

For example, Anthropic says that a conversation about the periodic table could lead Claude to create a visualization of it, featuring interactive elements that let you click inside the table for more information. Another example shows how Claude can create a visual related to the question of how weight is transferred through a building.

Although Claude will automatically determine whether to create a visualization in your chat, Anthropic points out that you can also ask the chatbot to create a diagram, table, or chart directly. Earlier this week, OpenAI has launched a new feature ChatGPT can create interactive visualizations of math and science concepts, while… Google Gemini can create educational images You can interact with it too.

Anthropic already lets you create diagrams, documents, widgets, and apps Through Claude’s “Antiques” featurewhich opens in a side panel where you can interact, share and download the AI-generated creation. But, as Anthropic notes, the artifacts are static, while the perceptions created within Claude’s conversations will change or disappear as the conversation progresses. You can also ask Claude to make changes to the visuals he creates.

Claude’s new visualizations are now rolling out to all users and will be turned on by default.
