Anthropic launches Claude Cowork on mobile and web

Claude Cowork was previously only accessible through the Claude desktop app for macOS and Windows, but now iOS and Android users can use it as well. However, Anthropic says the “full experience” of Cowork will still be present on the desktop app, including features like local file access.

Coworking sessions will also now run in the cloud by default, so you can follow them across different devices or run coworking tasks in the background even when your laptop is closed. There is still an option for local processing on the desktop app, where users can switch between cloud and local processing. Additionally, scheduled tasks will now run even when none of your devices are connected to the Internet. Claude can also send Cowork notifications to your phone when something is ready for you to review or approve.

Along with launching Cowork on mobile and web, Anthropic is also extending Cowork’s usage limits by double through August 5th.
