The company shared a video yesterday showcasing some of the features of RG Rotate. The mobile device’s screen rotates using a “self-developed ultra-thin alloy hinge designed for lasting durability.” Even companies like Nintendo struggles sometimes with Keep moving parts sturdy on their devices, so hopefully Anbernic has come up with a hinge design that will last.
There are no technical specifications for RG Rotate yet, including what processor it will use or which controllers will be powerful enough to emulate it. The video reveals that it will have a chassis made of a combination of aluminum and ABS plastic and include a set of basic controls similar to the Folding RG35XXSP With only a D-pad and four action buttons but no joystick. One of the standout features of the RG Rotate is the L2/R2 shoulder buttons that are adjustable in height to suit the player’s preferences. There is no launch date yet, but the device is expected to be released soon.
