Amflow’s TL e-bike is ready for baby’s first mountain adventure


Amflow, the e-bike brand spun off from DJI, has just announced the TL Series, a do-it-all “eSUV” that does both. Cycling adventures And drop the child off at the nursery while you’re on duty.

The TL Series All-Terrain is built around the incredibly compact yet powerful Amflow Avenox M2 Mid drive drive. The Amflow TL Carbon delivers 125 Nm of hill flattening torque and up to 1100 watts of peak output. It supports a battery capacity of up to 1280Wh when its removable 800Wh battery is paired with a 480Wh extender. You can also choose a hub that charges up to four batteries sequentially.

This sports car comes standard with mudguards, integrated lights, and a rear rack that supports up to 27kg, with the option to add a front rack to transport a further 20kg. The rear is MIK HD compatible allowing you to quickly attach everything from a child seat to panniers or a bike trailer for the family dog, while the front fork, rear suspension and wide knobby tires help absorb road ruts and potholes. The Amflow TL’s total weight capacity is 200 kg (440 lbs) of a bike that can be configured to weigh as little as 22.6 kg (50 lbs) – that’s very light for a full suspension bike.

The Amflow TL also features electronic shifting that detects shift signals to seamlessly shift the cassette without the rider needing to pedal. It also works on steep hills by reducing torque during gear changes to reduce shock and protect the chain.

long rounded, long The list of features are Apple Find My integration to help locate a stolen bike, heart rate sensor integration that provides proper pedal assist to keep the rider in the target heart rate zone, and integration with DJI’s Osmo cameras so you can control recordings directly from the e-bike’s screen.

None of this will be cheap: in Europe, it will be priced at €3,499, or £3,199 in the UK. US pricing remains firm, as are all shipping dates for the new Amflow TL series which will be “available globally later this year.”
