I spend more One of the winter weekends in Colorado Ski in resorts all over the state. The best part for me is the social aspect – there is no hotter tea than those that leaked on the chair. But if you are skiing or ice ski ever, then you know that communication is sometimes limited, as is when you are in front of me. (It’s great, it’s only my second season!) If I am practicing alone, it is also good to get some entertainment.
I used Bluetooth earphones to listen to podcasts and music when I ride, and some helmet sound systems have been tested, but the sound is usually Meh. I could not listen regularly to anything on the slopes. Recently, I had the opportunity to try the Poc Obex Connect, an audio system and a helmet communication system recently launched with Harman Kardon. The sound of the sound in this thing was made of my mind and officially turned me into a person who always needs a few of the soundtracks every time he skiing on the ice.
the Obex Connect It can be paired with any of the helmets in the POC OBEX line, or you can include it with Obex Connect BackCountry Helmet. I tried it with Obex MIPSAnd it was easy and intuitive to install. I pulled the regular ear pads from the helmet and I saw Obex Connect Ones, then put the connection cable behind the adjustment disk at the back of the helmet. The vocal ear platforms felt the same amount of softness, warm, and warm like those that came with the helmet.

It also includes more space for your ears – I never felt that the pillows were pressing my head. Instead, they served my ears. If you have earrings, do not get out, you know how important it is!
The Obex MIPS helmet itself is a solid piece of equipment. It has a comfortable and lightweight feeling, with an internal control disk, adjustable upper openings, glasses, and a adjustable plastic chin belt, front ventilation of glasses to help prevent jamming. As shown in the name, the helmet is characterized by the MIPS, which is the gold standard in building helmet that allows your head to move for the helmet during influence and reduce rotation strength.
Once the system was installed in my helmet, I downloaded the Poc Connect app (IOSand Android) And tried to get a phone pair with the headphone via Bluetooth. I couldn’t do this directly from the application – I had to go to the iPhone Bluetooth settings and select the headphone, but it was visible there and immediately associated. The process was fast and easy, even on a windy mountain road on its way to a ski resort. Next, I can control my music, calls and sound assistant from the helmet itself.
