“Whenever you try to extend the 10x infrastructure, it does not usually work,” Patterson said. “But when you try to extend it, as you know, 100x or more, you often have to take a step back and rethink it. So, I think about myself, if this is some of the infrastructure that we will nominate over the next ten years, is this how will I do that?”

This thought process was crowned in artificial intelligence in January 2024, which Patterson founded with Tom Costilo, the company’s chief scientist. She believes this is good, saying it’s best to get your product in front of customers early and get comments and repetitions.
