LG’s 27-inch Tandem OLED gaming monitor is now cheaper than ever

price LG UltraGear 27GX700A-B gaming monitor with 1440p resolution Which was released last August fell to almost its best price yet. You can grab it at Amazon For $484.99 or at LG For $499.99 (originally $599.99). This is great considering that this is one of LG’s primary RGB Tandem panels that is built using fourth-generation WOLED technology that delivers higher brightness and more robust contrast than its predecessors, and rivals QD-OLED.

This model can satisfy gamers with PCs designed to deliver smooth 1440p gameplay. It features a 280Hz refresh rate, dual HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 1.4, a near-instant 0.03ms response time, and a slim design. The monitor also has some USB-A ports for connecting accessories, as well as a headphone jack for private listening.

The 27GX700A-B supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and is Nvidia G-Sync compatible, which means it supports variable refresh rates and can keep the image running smoothly even with differences in frame rate. We have not tested this model, but we are reviewing the site Rtings It says it has a “distracting VRR flash,” though that likely depends on the game.

While costs have risen in recent months on PC components like RAM and storage, it’s been interesting to watch prices go in the opposite direction for OLED gaming monitors. Some people may prefer to spend less on fast, feature-packed IPS and VA panels, but it’s nice to have more opportunities to get high-end panel technology for your gaming PC or console.
