before Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 launch This is rumored to happen this summer, as Samsung has announced new feature updates to the Samsung Health app, which will begin rolling out on June 8.
The Samsung Health app will have new biometric capabilities that use artificial intelligence to make complex biometric data easier to understand and provide guidance on how to use this information.
“Samsung Health is evolving to connect health data measured by the Galaxy Watch with AI-based insights, allowing users to understand their physical and mental health more easily and intuitively,” said Hun Bak, Senior Vice President and Head of the Digital Health Team for Mobile Experience Business at Samsung Electronics. He said in a statement.
Top new features in the Samsung Health app include Vitals, Heart Health Score, Daily Heart Load, and Fitness Index:
Additionally, you’ll notice that the app layout will look different, as Samsung has organized these ideas into five categories: Sleep, Nutrition, Activity, Mindfulness, and Vitals. The new look aims to make their data easier to view and access.
More customization will also be available within these categories, and nutrition will take center stage as the Antioxidant Index feature will know how your food choices throughout the day are affecting you physically.
Additionally, the Age Index takes the data it collects nightly and generates a long-term picture of how your lifestyle choices affect your body.
You can also expect a hearing feature that picks up ambient noise with the Galaxy Watch and recommends ways to protect your hearing based on those analyses.
A Samsung representative did not immediately respond to a request for further comment.
