Evergoods Civic Access Bag Review: This one bag meets my tech accessory storage needs for travel

Traveling as a gamer It’s great because you can be prepared to jump into the game under any circumstances. Whether it’s on a flight, traveling on a bus or in a hotel room, it’s easy to pull out any portable gaming device you have and start playing a game. The problem is that if you are like me and prepare for these different scenarios with different cords, power banks and chargers, you need a bag to organize everything, which makes Evergoods Civilian Access Bag That bag is for me.

What makes the Civic Access stand out from other tech travel bags is the construction, design, and size. It’s large enough to cram multiple wires of different lengths, power banks and controllers while having a solid profile that won’t break at the seams and is able to stand on a table to create a tidy place for everything.

The Civic Access Pouch opens onto a hotel room desk, an open laptop to its right and a coffee maker to its left.

First, the size. It is a 2 liter bag and measures 9.5 x 3.5 x 5.8 inches. Here’s what I usually pack for trips:

  • Two 10-foot USB-C cables
  • Three 6-foot USB-C cables
  • USB-C to Apple Watch charger cable is 3 feet long
  • Power bank with a power of 45 watts and a capacity of 20,000 mAh
  • Travel energy sector
  • Three-port GaN charger
  • USB-C travel hub

There’s plenty of room for everything, and still a little more room for extra cables or chargers if you need them.

A lot of tech bags aren’t that different from getting a Ziploc bag and stuffing it with cables and other stuff. The Civic Access Pouch features a durable nylon construction in a perfect rectangular shape, making it perfect for packing. Whether you’re planning a month-long trip and need to power multiple devices, or just a weekend trip and need to power your phone, it will hold the same form factor that can comfortably fit into any backpack or suitcase.

A second benefit of the structure is its “desk caddy” function. It stands strong on its own. Keep it on a desk, unscrew the top and it will stay in that open position for as long as you need it. It provides a clean and uncluttered aesthetic, which you can appreciate if you are going to be staying in one room for a long period of time.

Finally, the interior design of the bag adds a stylish aesthetic touch. There are pockets of different sizes to arrange all your technology accessories. There are drop pockets that I use for longer cables so they don’t get tangled with shorter cables. At the top of the bag there is a zippered divider where I keep the power strip and travel hub, since I don’t need to access them on a regular basis like other cables, chargers, and power banks. But this for me system. You can come up with a completely different packing system that suits you and your accessories.

I’ve used many different tech bags when traveling, both larger and smaller than the Civic Access Pouch. None of those bags had the design and structure that worked like this bag. This is whether I’m traveling or at home at my desk. I’m impressed with how this bag organizes my cable clutter, so much so that I’m tempted to buy another bag just to keep it in my apartment permanently. If you plan to travel with a lot of devices other than a phone, this tech bag is worth the cost.
