The Nike Inflatable Puffy Vest eliminates puffiness to cool you down

Taking advantage of the company’s long-standing use of air bladders to improve cushioning in its shoes, the Nike Therma-Fit Air Milano Jacket Made of soft but durable composite laminate material that can be inflated or deflated in seconds. When the jacket is filled with air, it is better at trapping body heat for added insulation, and when deflated, it provides the same amount of warmth as a lightweight hoodie, according to Nike. Unlike traditional puffer jackets filled with down or engineered insulation, the Air Milano is easier to compress and place in a purse or bag while traveling.

Nike hasn’t said if or when the jacket will be available to the public or how much it will cost, but it will make its public debut during the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy, where Team USA athletes will wear it as part of their medal ceremony attire. But this is not the first appearance of this unique technology. Nike released its first inflatable jacket, the ACG Airvantage that you can inflate like a balloon, in 2008. Earlier this year, the company revisited the concept with ISPA Adapt Sense Air Jacket It instead uses a built-in motorized air pump similar to what the new Air Milano uses.
