After bringing his story Watch a digital episode for the US last DecemberCasio has announced a new version to debut later this year. Although the original was loosely based on Casio GMW-B5000the new wearable is inspired by the iconic DW-5600, and this time Casio’s circular watch fully embraces the G-Shock brand and its ethos with a resin strap and strap making it extremely durable.
As is the case with CRW001 last yearNew The Casio G-Shock Nano DWN-5600 is launching in Japan first In November 2025 in black, red and yellow for 14,300 yen, or about $94, which is much cheaper than the previous model. The wearable has also appeared on Casio’s websites at France, Germanyand Holland It is scheduled to be released in November and is priced at 99.90 euros, or about $115. It is expected to arrive in the United States as well, but these details are not yet known.
It’s not as flashy as Casio’s first circular watch It was finally released in a gold finishAlso, but the Nano DWN-5600 does come with one welcome upgrade. The original strap was not adjustable and relied on a pair of built-in spacers to help it fit small fingers. The new version features a traditional strap full of holes that can be adjusted in size from 48mm to 82mm to accommodate more users.
The G-Shock Nano DWN-5600 is functionally identical to last year’s model with a six-segment LCD screen that displays the time, a stopwatch, a calendar, and an LED behind the screen that flashes when an alarm goes off. Three buttons on the side of the case are used to switch modes, activate the LED, or set the time.
The Nano DWN-5600 is also water-resistant to a depth of 200 metres, so you won’t have to take it off while showering. It’s powered by a replaceable battery that lasts for two years, but Casio recommends using the company’s battery replacement services to ensure the circular watch’s water resistance is compromised in the process.
