YouTube tested the clear mini images of “mature content”

YouTube has announced a new experimental feature “aimed at providing safer search experiences for all users.” The service will start with the clarity of the mini images in search results for some queries “that include sexual topics frequently.” According to The latest update in the community department at the YouTube Assistant Center Web site, the feature is currently published to a small percentage of viewers.

There are no details about sexual topics that may lead to search to return the list of videos with unclear mini -images, but YouTube says that the video address and the name of the channel and its description will remain visible. Viewers will also have the option to cancel micro -images.

The goal of the limited test is to “understand whether this type of feature helps users avoid displaying content by mistake that follows the guidance of YouTube, but it may be sensitive to its nature.” But unlike Safesearch that can disinfect out results and filter results on the Google search engine, the new experimental feature of YouTube will not delete the results. In its current form, it was instead to provide an additional layer of protection that prevents younger or reassured users from providing content immediately with content that may be inappropriate.
