The company announced on Thursday that YouTube removes its headline and is now heading in favor of the category plans. With this change, YouTube moves on the comprehensive individual content list of content to displaying the most popular content in specific categories on YouTube plans.
The statute says that the update corresponds to better with the way the hard content is discovered today, noting that when the Trending page was launched in 2015, it was much easier to capture viral videos that everyone was talking about with a unique list.
The new plans for the category include Musical videos are headingand Weekly weekly podcastsAnd Film trailers are heading. YouTube plans to add more content categories in the future.
“Besides highlighting the common content in the plans, we will continue to display viewers on videos that we believe will love through dedicated recommendations,” the company explained in A. Blog post. “This way, we can show a wide range of common content, and feels more natural for how to actually find new video clips.”
Viewers can browse the non -personal content through the exploration menu, creators ’channels, and feed their subscriptions.
YouTube says the change occurs because the trends are formed through many different videos created by the various Fandoms, which leads to more small directions more than ever.
In addition, YouTube notes that viewers find trends through different places across the platform, including recommendations, research and comments. In the past, people will discover content to see the Trending tab, but now the content is fed through dedicated algorithm recommendations. These transformations have led to a decrease in visits to the Trending page, especially over the past five years, says YouTube.
It is logical to the company to adapt to advanced viewers ’customs, especially since the platform has turned slightly over the past decade. Once again in 2015, YouTube was mainly seen as a place for amateur videos. Today, it is home to the long professional content (and a short form) of independent creators and media outlets, all of which compete for a share of advertising revenues.
The company says it is still focusing on giving creators tools to determine what is common in their fans.
“The Inspiration Tab in YouTube will continue to give creators dedicated ideas to help them discover the next big thing for their channels,” YouTube wrote at the blog post. “We also create new ways to give up creators in a batch and help them discover them, like us.”Noise“A feature that allows viewers to amplify new videos they love.”
YouTube will also shout creators in the high official social media @youtube and YouTube channel.
The changes announced on Thursday will be in effect in the next two weeks.
