To disinfect your phone, Apple, Google, and Samsung recommend using cleaning wipes that contain 70% isopropyl alcohol. Apple also suggests 75% ethyl alcohol wipes or Clorox disinfecting wipes. Samsung recommends a solution containing 50 to 80 ppm hypochlorous acid as an alternative.
We should also note that it is important to avoid using harsh chemicals, such as bleach or hydrogen peroxide, as they may damage the phone’s surface. Apple, Samsung, and Google also do not recommend using compressed air or spraying cleaner directly on the phone.
