Windows 11 2025 update from Microsoft is now available

Microsoft launches the annual Windows 11 update (known as the 25H2 version) today. After the update test in Windows Insider last monthThe 25h2 version has now started offering all Windows 11 users through Windows Update. The 25H2 update is not huge, so it will not take a long time to install Microsoft – Microsoft delivers it as a small “empowerment” package.

“This means that it contains all the recently announced features in Windows 11, version 24H2,” explains John Kapel, Vice President of Program Management for Windows and delivery. “Both versions use a common blade base and the service branch, which simplifies the update.”

This joint software base also means that Microsoft will continue to release new Windows features monthly to both versions 24H2 and 25h2 from Windows 11. version 25H2 has some improvements behind the viewer. “The 25H2 version includes a great progress in discovering weakness at the time of operation and operating time, as well as safe coding with the help of artificial intelligence,” says Kabul. “We designed the 25h2 version to address security threats and mitigate the commitment to the requirements and requirements of the SDL.”

The update is also slightly smaller thanks to the removal of PowerShell 2.0 and the Windows Management (WMIC) command.

If you want to get 25h2 today, all you have to do is make sure that the option “get the latest updates as soon as it is available” is replaced in Windows Update. “If we discover that your device may face a problem, such as the incompatibility of the application or the driver, we may put protection in its place and do not provide the update until this problem is solved,” says Kabul. Microsoft will expand the operating range during the next few months and exchange known problems and the lack of devices on Windows Release.
