WhatsApp prepares customization features for chatting by including new feature options, colors for chat bubbles, and a set of new backgrounds to choose from. A new blog post He says the feature is now offering and will be available globally “in the coming weeks.”

Once the feature is available, you can change the topic of all your chats and channels by moving to Settings> Chat> Virtual chat theme. But if you want to change the chat or specific channels only, go to the one you want, then select the chat name or the Trible Dot menu on top and select the chat theme from there.
