Note that although Vego is called a compost, it doesn’t actually make fertilizer; It’s just grinding and drying your food scraps. However, they will reduce the volume of your kitchen waste by up to 90 percent, and the resulting odor-free “vegetable meal” (shown below, from Quick Mode) can be used to top your garden, can be mixed with potting soil as a nutrient amendment, or can be put back in the bin (albeit with much more space).
