Since arriving here in Consumer Electronics Show 2026I wrote about the new AI integrated pet technology The market hit, and my colleagues covered it Wearable AI devices Debuting here as well. But there’s one product that combines both: a wearable AI device for your dog.
Satellai, a pet startup that has made a name for itself by developing integrated artificial intelligence Pet technologydebuts a multimedia pet data model and a new smart collar for dogs.
White collar, called Go satellite collarcentered around a platform the company refers to as Petsense AI. According to the teamThe software combines location tracking with movement, sleep and temperature data, then layers on artificial intelligence to generate insights about a dog’s overall well-being. The idea is to move beyond basic metrics like step counts and toward early signals that something might be wrong, whether that’s tracking changes in activity, rest patterns, or daily routines.

Rather than offering owners raw charts and metrics, the company says the companion app is designed to translate that data into more intuitive updates about your pet’s health. The long-term vision is a kind of “digital twin” of your dog, built over time and informed by breed, age and historical behavior.
In theory, this could help pet owners spot potential illness early, or at least have more informed conversations with a vet.
Satellai Collar Go comes in multiple colors.
Health monitoring is only part of the picture. Like many modern pet wearables, the collar also features GPS tracking and geolocation capabilities, and is designed for owners who want reassurance when their dog is off-leash or wandering onto a large property. The device itself is positioned as rugged and water-resistant, with up to 15 days of battery life meant to minimize daily charging.
Last year, Satilai Released The first release of the Satellai Collar and Satellai Tracker for dogs is at CES 2025. What makes this version stand out, at least in theory, is the focus on prediction. The company bills the collar as a proactive tool, which can signal subtle behavioral shifts before problems become apparent. This is an ambitious claim, and will ultimately depend on how well the AI performs in real-world conditions across different dogs and lifestyles.
For now, the Satellai collar is focused exclusively on dogs, though the company has hinted that support for cats may be coming soon.
Petsense AI will be rolled out as a free update to all Satlai devices already purchased and will be integrated into Satellai Collar Go, which Available for pre-order now. The collar retails for $79 USD, with a 15% launch discount, bringing the price down to $67 USD. Price and availability put it in the middle range of the pet wearables market, suggesting an attempt to reach everyday pet owners rather than just early adopters.
To access Collar Go’s full suite of features, including multi-dog coverage and activity and health monitoring, you’ll also need to pay for a subscription. This costs $12 per month for six months, $9 per month for one year or $6 per month for two years.
At a show like CES, where “AI-powered” can sometimes seem like shorthand for “gimmicky,” this wearable represents a more thoughtful direction in pet technology, even if many of its promises still need to be validated outside the convention hall.
As pet wearables continue to evolve, the question is not whether they can collect more data, but whether they can turn that data into something truly useful. This is the challenge that this collar aims to address.
