This $7,999 robot will fold (some) of your laundry

If you have an extra $7,999 (plus a $250 deposit), hate folding laundry, and live in the Bay Area, year-and-a-half-old startup Weave has the robot for you: Isaac 0.

It takes Isaac 0 about 30-90 minutes to fold a load of laundry, waif He says. That’s all it does — it’s stationary and requires a regular wall outlet — and it can’t handle large blankets, bed sheets, or upside-down clothes. It’s not completely autonomous either, with remote operators on hand to help with more complex folds, though Weave says performance will improve over time.
