Pixar released the first trailer for Toy Story 5which is set to debut in theaters on June 19, 2026. Woody and Buzz Lightyear have come a long way since the first movie, which premiered 30 years ago, in November 1995. They’ve been through a lot, but now, there’s a new threat in town. It may be the most powerful enemy they’ve ever met: a children’s tablet. How will screen time affect this group of beloved toys?
The clip gives us our first glimpse at the technical game. It’s called Lilypad, and the tablet is expressed by Tron: Ares Star Greta Lee. Although the film’s plot has been kept mostly under wraps, it’s clear that these classic toys will now compete with electronics for Bonnie’s attention. Something tells me this won’t be easy.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen reprise their roles as Woody and Buzz, respectively. Joan Cusack returns as Jesse, along with Tony Hale as Forky. Conan O’Brien also appears in the film as Smarty Pants, a technology-based toilet training toy.
