The Steam Deck LCD Display is 20 percent off for Black Friday

All eyes were on Valve’s new hardware coming out in 2026, including… Steam Frame Headset, Steam Machine ControllerAnd a steam controller. But for those shopping for someone who wants great handheld gaming for the holidays, the Steam Deck LCD Display with 256GB of storage is $319.20 — that’s 20 percent off — through December 1 in steam.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this discount, but we’ll always celebrate the Steam Deck Discount. For those who don’t know, the portable device can be connected to a TV using a USB-C hub, turning it into a fun console to play from the couch using a Bluetooth controller. A surprising amount of games on the Steam platform run well on Steam Deck, although some of the most popular online multiplayer games are not supported due to Valve’s SteamOS not supporting some anti-cheat software.

One final quick note: Valve’s commitment to improving SteamOS software is admirable. Many of the complaints you’ll see in Sean Hollister’s review below have been corrected with updates.
