Neil Bolton has succeeded in raising the design of external drives two decades ago with the engraving of the rough Lacie line, which features a bright orange bumper to protect data from the drops. Today, Seagate has announced an updated version of SSD Mini Mini Lacie with a few small design modifications and a significant increase in speed transmission.
The drive is now called SSD4 Lacie Rugged and is available today starts at 1 TB, 2 TB and 4 TB (Seagate decreases the option of 500 MB) compared to $ 134.99, 249.99 dollars and $ 479.99, respectively.
The rugged SSD4 is the same as its previous size, but it is now characterized by a polished aluminum finishing and the stationed USB-C port. It now supports transportation speeds of up to 40 GB per second with a speed of reading 4000 MB/second and writing speeds of 3000 MB/s.
