The Shokz OpenFit Air earbuds live up to their all-time low price

If you like to exercise outside, open-ear headphones are useful for staying aware of your surroundings, but the extra peace of mind often comes at the expense of bass. the Shokz OpenFit Air Earbuds Actually tried to address this issue, and it’s currently priced at $79.95 ($40 off). Amazon, goalAnd directly from Shakz – It’s their best price yet.

Unlike many other Shokz models, the OpenFit Air uses traditional air conduction — similar to a pair of wireless earbuds — rather than bone conduction technology, resulting in remarkably decent bass performance. Sure, they still can’t match traditional wireless earbuds, but they at least sound less cluttered than a lot of bone conduction alternatives. The earhooks also hold the OpenFit Air in place, and are comfortable most of the time (although they may feel less stable when wearing glasses, as Our wearables review discovered this in its testing).

They also have a decent battery life of six hours on a single charge which is good for most workouts. Plus, it has an IP55 rating for sweat and water resistance, so it can withstand sweaty workouts and light rain.
