When is the last? Have you ever poured the perfect glass of Pinot Noir at home? If you’re like me three weeks ago, it’ll probably never happen. Red wine should be served at a temperature between 58 and 68 degrees (opinions vary). This is a slightly cooler temperature than room temperature, but unless you’re willing to devote the money and space to a dedicated refrigerator, you won’t have many good options. Maybe the “smart refrigerator” brand is a bit of a threat. Other than the design, which is incredibly thoughtful and flexible (there’s room for both 750-milliliter cans and bottles), it has an app-based lock, and can allow you to prioritize cooling over volume when it’s constantly opened (Party Mode) or quietness in your home theater (Quiet Mode). There are other things the app is supposed to do, but I’ve had no luck connecting the fridge so far – A common problem He – she It seems. There’s no Android version of the app, and it doesn’t work with older Macs, but my iPhone 15 Pro Max and M1 also failed to connect after more than an hour of trying. I’ll report back if I can get it to work.
What you get with the Rocco is a nice-looking place to store drinks behind a triple-thick layer of tempered glass, a choice of several eye-catching colors, and the ability to keep several types of drinks at the perfect serving temperature. Oh, and a branded mini serving tray and a deck of round playing cards.
