The Petkit Automatic Wet Pet Food Dispenser is unlike anything else you’ve seen at CES

Like many pet owners, I always want my dog to have the best of the best. Sometimes this means I cook sweet potatoes, eggs, and chicken to add to his food (I know, I know). But sometimes that means I want him to have the latest devices to hit the market.

And believe me, Consumer Electronics Show 2026 It’s the right place for that.

At the Petkit booth at the CES showroom, I walked around devices that at first glance looked like very fancy feeders or water fountains. Then I noticed what machines they were He does With the data they collect, I began to realize how a water dish can show you things you never knew about your favorite dog or cat.

Petkit, a company known for its innovative pet care products, let me preview three new additions to its portfolio ahead of CES 2026, which aim to move connected devices beyond simple automation and toward ongoing health awareness for companion animals.

Rethink pet care with an integrated AI ecosystem

Rather than focusing on a single automated function, Petkit says this year’s lineup is designed to form an integrated ecosystem where a pet’s daily routines help build a comprehensive picture of each animal’s health over time. All of these new devices link to the Petkit app, where information about eating, drinking and litter box activity is collected and displayed on a per-pet basis.

The idea is to make routine behaviors visible and perhaps more important, rather than leaving owners guessing what their pets’ “normal” looks like.

One device debuting is the Yumshare Daily Feast, an automatic wet cat food feeder that Petkit describes as its first foray into automated wet feeding. The unit can distribute scheduled meals over several days while monitoring consumption through a built-in camera. NFC tracking and UV sterilization are designed to help keep meals fresh. An AI-based detection system built into the camera is used to record the amount of food eaten and the animal eaten. This shifts the role of the feeder from a timed dispenser to something that monitors and records eating behavior. Yumshare will be available in spring 2026.

Another product is the Eversweet Ultra Water Fountain. It uses a camera equipped with pet recognition technology to monitor drinking habits from one pet to another and records that information through the app. The larger tank and design that keeps fresh water separate from waste aims to reduce the need for daily refilling and cleaning. For owners who want to travel or juggle multiple pets, data on who drank what and when can provide useful context if their drinking patterns change. Petkit says it aims to release Eversweet in April.

Completing the trio of devices is the Purobot Crystal Duo, an open robotic cat litter box. Like other devices in the collection, it includes an AI-powered camera to monitor activity and send alerts for events that might indicate a health change, such as unusual stool consistency or unusual vocalization. The system is designed to reduce hands-on litter maintenance for weeks at a time while still providing information about how often and in what way the pet uses the litter box. Petkit plans to launch Purobot in July.

Looking forward

Petkit is expected to begin rolling out these products in spring 2026, with prices and availability varying by device and region. At CES, the company is emphasizing how these connected gadgets can help pets and their owners by turning daily routines into an ongoing health narrative.

Whether this represents a meaningful shift in how pets are cared for will likely depend on how the devices perform in the long term and whether owners find the health trend features truly useful.
