The new prices for Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN are here. What you need to know

According to Disney Plus support pageLegacy subscribers to the Disney Plus Premium, Hulu, and ESPN Select package will pay $25 per month instead of $22, and subscribers to the legacy Hulu Plus Live TV plan will see the monthly cost rise from $88 to $95. These plans are not available to new customers. The price will remain the same for some subscriptions, so check your email to see if your subscription has been affected. Notably, Hulu’s ad-free plan, ad-free Disney Duo package, and new packages that include ESPN Unlimited don’t scale up.

With this shift, Disney’s on-demand streaming services will be at the same prices as Peacock, Apple TV Plus, and HBO Max. The live TV service will be significantly higher than competing YouTube TV and comparable to the cost of cable TV packages — just without a contract. Netflix, Peacock and Apple TV Plus all raised their prices this year, and Warner Bros. President David Zaslav said: Discovery, recently the increases are Coming to HBO Max.
