TCL unveils the One TV in Consumer Electronics Show 2026X11L, a large LCD screen that includes a Super Quantum Dot layer designed to deliver better colors and eye-catching brightness.
While a number of companies at this year’s conference, including LG and Samsung, are touting MicroRGB backlighting for improved colors, TCL says its method allows for better contrast due to its unique backlight system.
The 4K TV says the SQ-LED display combines three new “TCL Deep Color System” technologies to achieve 100% of the BT.2020 color space, including Super Quantum Dot Crystals (Super QLED), TCL UltraColor filter, and TCL’s advanced color purity algorithm.
The company says its TV is capable of up to 10,000 nits of brightness, which, if accurate, would make it one of the brightest TVs ever. The TV uses a MiniLED backlight with the company’s Halo Control system which is designed to reduce the effects of backlight halo on high-contrast images.
The display features a WHVA 2.0 Ultra panel with an edge-to-edge ZeroBorder anti-reflective bezel that reduces visible bezel. Additionally, the TV supports Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG and includes a Bang and Olufsen sound system and Dolby Atmos support.
I had a brief Practical training With the X11L, and I watched it in standard mode against a number of other MicroLED TVs, the TCL looked lively and had the same high-contrast performance I saw with the X11L QM8 And QM9. However, when I set the TV to regular Movie Maker mode, the colors were much less saturated, so I can’t (yet) speak to the TV’s accuracy or its ability to reach any particular color standard.
The X11L will be available in 75-inch, 85-inch and 98-inch sizes this month.
