SwitchBot is jumping on the AI voice recorder bandwagon, offering its own tool that captures and organizes every conversation. The SwitchBot AI MindClip, announced at CES, records spoken information from your daily life and work meetings and turns those conversations into summaries, task actions, and a personal audio memory database.
This announcement comes after the launch of competing AI recorders such as bee, Cloud’s NotePinand The work of Anker Soundcore. The MindClip weighs 18 grams, supports more than 100 languages, and has a similar design to the lighter Soundcore Work — both have a button-like register and a square-shaped clip.
MindClip is designed to act like a “second brain,” according to SwitchBot, allowing users to search and recall previous discussions that may have been forgotten. The AI-powered summarization, task creation, and information recall features will only be available to users who subscribe to an unspecified “cloud service,” according to SwitchBot’s press release. The company did not announce the cost of this service and the device itself, or when either of them is expected to be launched.
