Super Bowl LX is fast approaching and is sure to be one of the most watched television events of the year. Although we don’t know yet which teams will compete — we’ll have to tune in to the AFC and NFC Championship games on January 25 to find out who will participate — we do know that the halftime show features one of the biggest music stars on the planet.
The broadcast will take place from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, where Super Bowl LX will be held on Sunday, February 8. Puerto Rican star Bad Bunny, who currently holds the title of the most streamed artist in the world, will perform during the Apple Music Halftime Show. But he’s just one of many big names on the schedule.
Here’s a quick look at everything you need to know about how to watch the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show and the rest of the pre-game shows, too.
Bad Bunny is the main event, but the big match will kick off with a lineup of pre-match artists taking the stage at 6pm ET/3pm PT.
With the 60th Super Bowl taking place in the Bay Area, it only makes sense for a local band to kick off the festivities. East Bay natives Green Day will perform at an opening concert featuring some of their biggest hits. The opening ceremony will also include appearances by former Super Bowl MVPs (stay tuned to find out who).
Pre-game performances will also include pop star Charlie Puth, who is scheduled to perform the national anthem. Singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile will sing America the Beautiful, and Grammy Award-winning singer and actor Coco Jones will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” All of these performances are scheduled just before kickoff.
Pre-show performances will also be given by American Sign Language interpreters. The National Anthem and “Lift Every Voice and Sing” will be performed by deaf artist Fred Beam, and Julian Ortiz will sign “America the Beautiful.” With Bad Bunny expected to perform primarily in Spanish, his halftime show will also include a signature multilingual program featuring Puerto Rican sign language interpreter Celimar Rivera Cosme.
Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, known as Bad Bunny, gets top billing in the first half. No special guests have been officially announced to join him on stage, but if the latest halftime performances are any indication, it’s likely he’ll be inviting some famous friends to perform with him. We’ll just have to wait and see who they are.
The Super Bowl will be broadcast live on NBC, Universo and Telemundo, and will stream live on Peacock on Sunday, February 8. The match is scheduled to start at 6:30 PM ET, with the pre-show starting at 6 PM ET. The Spanish-language broadcast will also be available on Telemundo and Universo.
Break time is expected to fall between 8 and 8:30 PM ET, so if you’re just planning to tune in to see Bad Bunny Debí Tirar Más Fotos perform, you’ll probably want to turn on the TV around 8 PM ET.
