Squid: The Challenge returns with Season 2. Here’s when to watch


Another group of brave contestants are set to don those iconic green tracksuits in a bid to claim the biggest prize in American reality TV history, as Squid Game: The Challenge returns for its second season.

With Hwang Dong Hyuk’s original dystopian thriller still intact NetflixMost viewed Non-English language display for all timesthe reality game show spin-off has also proven to be a hit, winning a BAFTA Award and receiving three Emmy nominations.

As in the TV drama, the contestants live together in shared quarters and must compete in a series of high-stakes challenges inspired by the original film. Squid game – Complete with shock eliminations, psychological fluctuations, and increasing tension as the pool of players narrows.

This sophomore season features contestants from as far away as Mexico, England, Japan and the United Arab Emirates, ranging in age from 21 to 77 years old. Robert Pattinson’s Twilight stunt double and an NFL fan are among those vying for the fun of lobster fishing. The prize is $4.56 million.

When to watch Squid: The Challenge Season 2?

The new season of Squid Game: The Challenge consists of 10 episodes and is premiering on Netflix Tuesday 4 Novemberwith the first four episodes released at 3 a.m. ET (12 a.m. PT).

The next three parts will be available simultaneously on November 11, with the final three episodes, including the finale, arriving on the streaming service on November 18.

Netflix raised prices in early 2025, so be aware you’ll be paying these prices now: Standard price with ads is $8 per month; The ad-free Standard version costs $18 per month, while Premium, which is also ad-free, costs $25 per month.

Squid Game: The Challenge Season 2 is available to stream exclusively on Netflix with any plan. All three Netflix plans include downloads (on two devices for Standard and Standard with ads, and six devices for Premium).
