Spotify simplifies the process of importing playlists from other streaming services

This feature is not something completely new, it was built from the ground up. Instead, it is a direct integration with TuneMyMusicwhich lets you move playlists between services like Tidal, YouTube Music, Qobuz, Beatport, and even Napster. Of course, TuneMyMusic is just one of many services that offer the same capability, including Soundiiz and SongShift, which powers the Apple Music import feature.

While you can go directly to these third parties to transfer playlists between services, there are often limits to the number of playlists and how long you can be in the free tier. Going directly through Spotify and Apple gives you a premium and unlimited transfer experience, albeit only in one direction. The ability to transfer your playlists from directly within the Spotify mobile app is now rolling out globally.
