Spotify launches lyrics, translations, and previews offline


Spotify announced on Wednesday Some new word features It aims to make song lyrics easier to understand and access, including translations, previews and offline lyrics.

Lyric translations were originally introduced in 2022, but have only been available in select markets until now. It’s now rolling out worldwide to Spotify’s free and premium users, who will soon start seeing the translation icon in the lyrics section of the app. When you tap this option, “translations will appear based on your device language,” if translation is available.

Spotify is also rolling out lyric previews worldwide for free and premium users. This feature adds a condensed lyrics box between the song title and album art, so you can see the lyrics without switching to the full-screen lyrics view.

Finally, Spotify Premium users around the world can now access song lyrics offline. When you download tracks to Spotify, the lyrics will now be saved as well.
