Mist is streaming across PlayStation Plus this Halloween, as Sony introduces some suitably spooky games to the service’s game catalog on October 21.
Subscribers can experience the psychological horror of the 2024 remake of Silent Hill 2 or place themselves in the midst of horrific terror in Until Dawn. If you’re not a fan of scary games, Sony is also adding other titles to the service that you might like.
PlayStation Plus Looks like Xbox Game Passoffering subscribers a large and constantly expanding game library. There are three levels of PlayStation Plus — Basic ($10 per month), Extra ($15 per month) and Premium ($18 per month) – Each of which gives subscribers access to games. However, only Plus and Premium tier subscribers can access the PlayStation Plus game catalog, a collection of hundreds of games subscribers can access whenever they want.

Silent Hill 2
CNET sister site IGN They described the Silent Hill 2 remake as a “miserable experience,” but they meant that in a good way. It’s a horror game after all, so feeling miserable and uncomfortable is kind of the goal, and this game pins that feeling on top (of the pyramid).
You will play as James Sunderland, who arrives in the Silent Hill community after receiving a letter from his wife. The only problem is that his wife died three years ago. You’ll evade and fight monsters, uncover secrets and grapple with your past in this horror game.
Until dawn
Stop me if you’ve heard this before: A group of teenagers find themselves in a secluded location being chased by something in the woods. It’s a classic horror trope, and that’s the premise of Until Dawn.
A group of friends are staying at a mountain lodge where two of their friends disappeared a year ago – you won’t find me returning to a location like this, no sir. As you explore the mountain, you’ll discover clues about what happened while you were being chased by a dangerous and deadly masked man. Your choices throughout the game can affect who dies and who survives this horrific night.
