Astronomers have Discovery of a lemon-shaped planet It revolves around a small star, but that’s not the only strange thing about it.
Scientists using NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope have discovered a Jupiter-sized planet, PSR J2322-2650b, which is the first planet to have an atmosphere made of helium and molecular carbon.
“Soot clouds are likely floating in the air, and deep within the planet, these carbon clouds could condense and form diamonds,” NASA said in a statement.

“The planet orbits a completely strange star – (the star) has the mass of the Sun, but the size of a city,” said Michael Chang of the University of Chicago, lead researcher on this study.
Researchers say that the planet is 100 times closer to its star than Earth is to the sun, and that strong gravitational forces are what pull it into its strange lemon-shaped shape.
Music fans may know the indie band Nationalism He wrote a song about life on Lemonworld in 2011. Do we need to search The National’s catalog for more evidence of interstellar learning? My first candidate is “The system only dreams in complete darkness”. Is this evidence of The tenth planet? I say yes.
