Compare that to up to $100 for a set of cartridges that only print 1,000 pages or so, and it won’t take long for the ink tank to pay for itself, especially with a discount. This alone makes this a very attractive purchase, and you won’t need to maintain or refill it for months or years, depending on how often you print.

The Epson printer was also less hassle than a lot of other printers I’ve worked with. Although it sometimes had to think a bit before starting to print, it worked well and quietly, and both plain black-and-white pages and color images came out nice and clear. It doesn’t have the largest paper tray, but it’s easily accessible in case you need to switch paper types on a whim.
