Samsung has released a new announcement for the launch of its upcoming Galaxy S26 phone, which confirms rumors about a new screen with a built-in privacy mode. Leaked videos show that the feature may be able to completely block content from apps or certain parts of the screen when viewed at an angle.
The new ad shows a woman reading a racy romance novel on the subway, while curious passengers look over her shoulder. The overlay shows a quick tap of a “zero privacy” toggle switch, which blocks out provocative content for curious onlookers.
This may look similar to existing privacy filters, which have been available as aftermarket screen protectors for years, or have been found built into products including Some HP laptops. But the leaks say that what Samsung has in store for the S26 range is different.
It will Use is said A new type of OLED panel that Samsung Display debuted two years ago at MWC 2024 Flex Magic Pixel.
