Samsung introduced three new S26 phones initially Galaxy unlocked Event of the year: S26, S26 Plus And Uber premium S26 Ultra. The S26 Ultra continues the company’s tradition of Ultra phones offering top-of-the-line features that the rest of its series lacks. And this year, Ultra View privacy Clear Highlights is a feature that lets you customize how your phone appears to others around you.
Aside from that, the S26 Ultra’s other improvements are fairly marginal. All three displays have an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz.
But it’s the pixel-level privacy screen that’s particularly impressive with the S26 Ultra. When activated, the screen will remain visible when looking directly at the phone while making it difficult if not impossible to see what’s on the screen from the side. Cameras on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
While the S26 Ultra certainly has the best camera hardware in the S26 lineup, it has the same exact camera specs as its predecessors. All three Ultra phones have four cameras: a 200MP wide, a 50MP ultra-wide, a 10MP 3x telephoto camera, and a 50MP 5x telephoto camera. However, the S26 Ultra has larger apertures for taking better low-light photos. They all also have a 12-megapixel front camera.
Many of the S26 Ultra’s camera upgrades come from software. There’s a horizontal lock feature that will keep the horizon steady while shooting video, selfies can now capture more natural skin tones and screenshots will now be sorted into their own categories within the gallery.
