Roborock’s latest robots don’t need help to get out of sticky situations. At least, that’s one of the benefits of the improved AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0 on the Roborock Saros 20 and Saros 20 Sonic announced today at CES 2026.
The upgraded chassis on Roborock’s new flagship robot vacuums allows robots to climb over thresholds up to 3.3 inches in total length, including double-layer thresholds of up to 1.7 and 1.57 inches per step.
The robots can also clean carpets more effectively with the dynamic height of the chassis that automatically adjusts the robots height for carpets up to 1.2 inches high. The height-adjustable chassis also helps robot vacuums free themselves if they get stuck in anything, which ideally means users will need to rescue their robots less frequently.
For those who need particularly good cleaning capabilities, the Saros 20 Sonic features an enhanced VibraRise 5.0 sonic mop that extends cleaning down to baseboards. Users can customize water flow and mop vibration settings for different floor types from the Roborock app.
Both robot vacuums will be available later this year, but Roborock has yet to announce pricing information.
