After proving he can pull it off after three seasons of Reacher, Alan Ritchson is heading towards something a little lighter, leading the cast of the comedy Playdate, which will be released in Prime Video this week.
The film stars alongside veteran comedian Kevin James, with Ritchson playing Jeff, a suburban stay-at-home dad who leads a secretive and violent double life.
When Jeff invites his new classmate Brian (James) on what appears to be an innocent play date, the afternoon quickly descends into chaos as the parents and their children suddenly find themselves pursued by a relentless group of mercenaries.
