Razer is one of the biggest names in games, for a good reason. It constantly provides high -quality and high -performance products, even if it is usually more expensive than most competitors. Razer first threw his hat in 2014And I launched the first Joy-Con control design with The second generation in 2019Before rename the line as Kishi in 2020 With updated design. This year, Razer made his steps with the third generation, which is now a full range of options: Kishi V3, V3 Pro and V3 Pro XL.
Yes, it’s expensive, but as much as I am concerned, it is the best mobile control units that you can buy now. The basics are the same across the three, and their pores are Razer.
The work environment makes or broke a console. I have tried a lot of mobile versions over the years, and a very few of them do not tire my hand and arms after 30 minutes or so, and none of them feel good like Kishi V3 models. Control is taken from Rayezer and Verrene V3 ProIt is the best control unit ever used.
To refer to it, I find that the spinal console is very small so that it cannot be used comfortably for long periods, and the new spine is still, although it is larger and slightly more comfortable, uncomfortable for me after more than 20 minutes. This is not necessarily true if you have smaller hands.
All three Razer control units have a full-size magnetic thumb, and the new heat in Thumbstickland- Hall effect It is 2024. TMR sticks are supposed to be more sensitive, accurate and durable than the effect of the hall, as well as require less energy, and most of the high -end Pro controllers turn into TMR sticks.
There are hall effects on top (with two additional bumps on Pro and Pro XL), and two appointed buttons on the back. The background button keys are pulled directly from the mice in Razer games, which contain the same optical keys, and feel satisfied.
The lower USB-C port supports the insurgency but there is no width or sound, similar to the spine. There is also, fortunately, headphone socket. I know I am the minority here, but sometimes I am still the best use of headphones at games and regret, giving up more 3.5 mm plug -mm plugches for Bluetooth Wireless.
Another big feature of Kishi: It can act as a computer control unit as well, at least in theory. You can simply connect it to your computer via cable and it is supposed to work with any game. Although he worked well on a PC, I couldn’t run it properly on the game’s laptop.
Aside from the devices, the prominent feature of the Kishi collection is the Razer’s Nexus app. The program is not different from everything that differs from the spine and others, but there are some prominent features.
The first is Razer’s Sensa HD HapticsBasically, a super -charging version of the typical Haptics you get with most controlled units. It works by setting the sound to physical feedback, which means that the effects can be more accurate and detailed than the traditional HaPTICS. Unfortunately, it only works on Windows 11 or Android 12 and higher.
The second ability, welcoming and unfamiliar comes across Raiser the cortexThe program that allows you to flow any game from your computer directly to your phone Remote play. The best part is that it is free and works on any phone, with any controller, so although it may work better with the Kishi console, you do not need to use it.

Let’s start at the bottom of the squad. Kishi V3 is designed to be the entry point to the Kishi line, intended as a convincing option for those who want to upgrade their mobile games but do not need all professional additions. Razer did a great job in keeping most of the best aspects of devices without prejudice to the experiment.
Kishi is the smallest line in the line and will suit almost any phone. You can use it as an external control unit for a tablet, but it will not fit physically around it.
Facial buttons are what Razer calls “by calm touch”, the description I agreed to. It is quiet and significantly more enjoyable than what I used on other mobile control units: they are not harsh, but they are definitely not soft either. I would like to say it is one step under the buttons on professional control units like Xbox Elite Wireless 2But it is still very nice. There is a quad-direction D-pad, which you feel very harsh for me but it may still be great for most people.
At $ 100, Kishi V3 is also the cheapest group, but it is still expensive. He competes directly with the spine, which has its own advantages, but the Kishi devices themselves make it a better choice of spine. It is definitely the best devices you can get for $ 100, but there are many solid console that is lighter on the wallet.

Step-UP V3 Pro has several promotions on the Kishi base. The first is the size: it is not larger than the other style, but it is large enough to fit small tablets like iPad miniand Tab Lenovo Legion Or Redmagic ASTRA.
Another big difference is the face buttons. Instead of the “calm touch” buttons, the V3 Pro includes the same Mecha Tactile buttons like Wolfirin V3 and V3 Pro. The feeling of everyone may not work, but like Josh GoldmanWho reviewed Wolfirin, I enjoy it completely. They do not have a lot of travel like the traditional console buttons and some may get used to, but they are ultimately more responsive.
D-pad also gets a solid upgrade. This model contains the eight floating D, which also uses Mecha-Tactile keys. Again, not everyone will like to feel, but I do. It is a little more sensitive than the standard D, such as those in entering Kishi-this is not necessarily bad, it is due to the preference and the games it plays.
In a big upgrade on Kishi UltraControl stick caps can be switched. Razer includes different cap sizes in the box. If you have never tried to switch controls or covers before, you only need to switch the highland or concave heights to a convex can make a big difference in FPS games.
V3 Pro also gets more additional bumps, again directly from Wolverine V3. It is mainly dedicated to ODDBALL Class handlesBut I found it useful when I didn’t want to change my grip to reach standard fenders.
The price of professionals jumps to $ 150, which is much for any console, especially a portable price. But it is actually the cheapest $ 20 than Backbone Pro, making it a better choice.

Confirming the V3 Pro but in an excessive package, the V3 Pro XL is for the hard -working players. I heard from some militants who reject the game on anything other than their M4 iPad ProAnd these people are the target buyers in Razer for XL. Also, if you are one, we need to speak.
It collapsed, it’s broadly like 16 -inch laptop. Fullly stretches, it can accommodate 10 to 13 -inch tablets of up to 11.1 inches/282 mm on the long edge, which includes 13 -inch iPad Pro. In fact, it is the option of the only great excellent control unit enough for this large tablet. It also fits a group of larger Android tablets, including Pad OnePlus 2 12.1 inches (but may not be the latest with OnePlus 3), according to Razer specifications.
Additional size will cost you though; Pro XL is $ 200. But if you buy this for the game on the IPAD Pro, which cost $ 1200, I doubt that the price is a big factor for you.

As much as I love the devices on the Kishi control units, they all miss one big way: the ability to transport. Not only is it somewhat large compared to other mobile control units, but Razer does not collect – or even display – at the present time. Transferring to and outside the bag is annoying, and clips of the control stick constantly starts from the V3 Pro and Pro XL when I take it out of my bag. I haven’t lost them yet, but it is only a matter of time.
This may not be a loser for everyone, but this is a vital aspect of the design of a control unit that is supposed to be carried everywhere.
The biggest defect in the Kishi control units, which is not the entire Razer error, is the Android compatibility. On iOS, they all already work with each game compatible with a control unit available in the application store, but Android is a largely mixed bag. Some games work well, but others, such as Call of Duty: Mobile, require you to use Remaping Touch – which you found and beaten.
There was some difference in compatibility between devices. On my country OnePlus 13 Pro XL has done better than Redmagic Astra tablet; The latter will separate or fail to record inputs while playing, especially with CODM. Other games worked well, but they were still in general.
For mobile control units, Razer competes strongly with veteran spine Professional spineAnd Razer goes forward. Kishi V3 is the same price as the spine, while V3 Pro is great in addition to $ 20 cheaper than Backbone Pro: razer Take wMy hands. The work environment in Keshis is better, the devices are better, and the program is better. The only thing that the backbone of Kishi is a better design for pregnancy – it is very important for a mobile console – but I am still better Kishi V3.
If you are in Android, it will be less clear, but again, it also depends on the games you play. For CODM exclusive players, the spine has a better original compatibility, but the default maps on Kishi works well, at least on most devices, if you do not mind spending time adjusting the settings. Other games can be hit and missed with the original compatibility.
If you are exclusively iOS, any of Kishi V3 console is the best mobile control unit that you can get. Even on Android, it’s still far from my first choice.
