The flow of service and software maker PLX raises their prices. On Wednesday, the company announced an increase in prices in a decade for the excellent subscription service Plex PassWhich provides energy users with a variety of additional features, such as access to the outside, themes, devices coding, and other advanced settings. The service will now cost $ 6.99 per month, up from $ 4.99 previously.
The annual cost will also increase to $ 69.99 from $ 39.99, and the Plex Lifetime passage will be 249.99 dollars, up from $ 119.99. Changes will enter into force on April 29, allowing PLX Pass subscribers a few more weeks to lock the Plex LifeTime pass at a cheaper rate before high prices.
Besides this news, PLX has announced changes in the employment of personal media, removal of “mobile phone opening” fees, and PLX private policy updates and service conditions.
For the latter, the company confirmed that it does not participate, sell or sell user data related to personal media, addresses in the media library, or the use of a personal media server. However, the new policies explain how the PLX’s participation has changed to the user’s data to include PLX activity, based on the user account vision and activity settings. It also shows how and why PLX shares or sells data, including using advertising purposes.
The new policies will be applied to those who create a PLX account after Thursday. Current users will be asked to approve the new conditions at a later time.
Meanwhile, PLX says price changes will allow them to keep pace with the increasing costs to support subscribers and those who use PLX to manage their personal media groups. This includes PLX plans for new features such as the next integration with Logical media To provide their assessments and reviews that aim to parents to Plex Pass holders.
Plex also works on a new server managing a web, mobile phone and an open SEVER application program for complement Blog publishing notes.
These changes come after other paid broadcasts such as Netflixand Spotifyand Holoand Disney+and YouTube TVAnd others raised their subscription rates over and over again.
Two smaller updates are put to PLX users as well.
One of them abandons the activation fees for one time that was previously required to remove operating restrictions for one minute on the content flow from the PLX to a mobile device on iOS or Android. When the new PLX experience is launched on the mobile phone, the fees will not be required anymore.
Another change will make the run -off of personal media a paid feature instead of free. Quoting the need for “more resources”, PLX users will need to upgrade to the Plex Pass subscription to use this feature or take advantage of a new hourly subscription per hour, which is better for those who do not run their own servant but want to broadcast from a family member or a friend who is not a common. The new subscription can also appeal to those who do not need all the privileges that come with a full PLX PASS subscription, but they want to reach the distance operation and determine features like Skip Intro and SKIP credits.
The hourly monitoring subscription will be available from April 29 for the preliminary price of $ 1.99 per month, or $ 19.99 a year.
“These changes have not been made lightly, and we have spent a lot of time to evaluate the best forward path to ensure that we can continue to balance value with a better personal media experience in their class for years to come.”
