The price of Paramount Plus is rising again. As part of it Earnings report released Paramount announced Monday that it will “implement price increases in the United States” in the first quarter of 2026 — without specifying how soon it will cost.
Paramount says the price increase will “foster continued reinvestment in the user experience and deliver a stronger slate of programming” going forward. Like many other streaming companies, Paramount has been raising the price of its streaming service on an almost annual basis. Paramount Plus has raised prices In 2023 before that Hiking them last JuneIts ad-free premium plan is priced at $12.99 per month, while the ad-supported tier is priced at $7.99 per month. It also recently raised prices in Canada and Australia.

During the first few months of Skydance ownership, Paramount Plus added 1.4 million subscribers, bringing its total to 79.1 million. Paramount A deal worth $7.7 billion was concluded That would bring live UFC fights to the streaming service as well.
Along with the price hike, Paramount revealed it is “pausing” free trials for the streaming service and “reviewing its discounting practices.” The company also plans to update the technology stack behind Paramount Plus and the free, ad-supported streaming service Pluto TV to improve its performance, and is looking into how it can use artificial intelligence to offer better personalization and recommendations.
