Nothing if Mic Super is a small upgrade to an ear sound

Microphones in your earphones may absorb. As you know, I know that, and nothing seems to know it too. Fix it? Better microphones – but in the case of shipping, not buds.

I was telling Ear 3 for a week or so throughout the New York vacation, and I was given a little supercarvon from the test along the way. There is definitely not true that it seems better than the buds themselves, especially in relatively quiet areas – sound recordings are slightly lower, with more circular sound and sound depth. However, the first time I tested during a voice call with my partner, she can barely tell the difference, so it would be clear that it will be an accurate improvement, especially if the quality of the communication is a problem.

Things are more confused in loud areas. Nothing has been built in some strong cancellation of noise for both microphones. It is impressive in blocking unwanted noise – she stood a few meters away from Akashat and I was unable to hear it in the recording – but it is so aggressive that it cut my voice in this process, as the sound and outside decreases as it may be in a call made from a moving train. This happened to both the super ear and microphone, and the latter suffered from this equally.

There is a greater problem if you hope to use this for the video: cumin. Using the BlackMagic camera application, I discovered an improvement in sound quality whenever I activate MIC Super, but my sound has immediately came out of synchronization with the video, my speech is no longer lining up in the lip movements. This will not be a problem of voice calls, but for video calls, especially any hopes of recording clips of Tiktok, it may kill a lot of Super MIC.

There are other negatives for a super microphone. Holding the case on your mouth means, well, the case. The buds don’t always look great, but they are free of hands, and this is not. Stir very far from your mouth or refer to it in the wrong direction will also destroy your sound very quickly. This may make this annoying to the longest calls, especially during the navigation, but perhaps it will not bother you much if you just need to record a quick or video note.

Compatibility is a headache as well. SUPER MIC will work anywhere that buds themselves can do in reality, your phone cannot know the difference, as the key between the microphones is dealt with by the buds themselves – but this means that it does not work everywhere.

Supported by most audio and video calls, including Zoom and WhatsApp, along with some audio recording applications, such as iOS audio notes. But you cannot use it to record WhatsApp notes or Snapchat audio, and most Android camera applications are only working with the phone microphone. iOS 26 only The option to select an external microphone has been added to recording the video at least, so the compatibility is actually better for iPhone users, although there are no Android phones.

The company wants to be clear that this is not its mistake. “Most of these virtual applications for the original microphone of the phone and do not give users the option to determine another input,” Andrew said Freshwateer, president of Global Smart Products in nothing, when I asked about the support limits. “This is a decision of the operating system and specifications at the application level, and not our points. We would like to see this flexibility has been opened so that more people can benefit from the super microphone.”

I will test Super MIC more over the next few days, along with the rest of the EAR 3 voice, for full review next week.
