Meta has announced a new generation of Ray-Ban Smart glasses, which is highly improved and the ability to record 3K video, making it equally with the Oakley HSTN glasses. The new glasses, called The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2, are available to order today and start from $ 379.
Let’s dig the battery, which is better on a few fronts. You can use the new Ray-Bans for up to eight hours on one charge, which is twice the battery life for four hours of the previous generation. The charging status can be paid to 50 percent in 20 minutes – a slight improvement over 22 minutes to 50 percent for the first generation. The GEN 2 Gen 2 an additional hours of battery life provides an increase of 32 hours.
For the camera, you will be able to record 3K at 30 frames per second, 1440 pixels in 30 frames per second, and 1,200 pixels in 60 frames per second, all for up to three minutes. Later in this fall, Meta will also add the ability to capture Hyperlapse and Play-Motion-a feature that comes to all its Amnesty International.
Meta adds a great feature -focused feature called “concentration conversation” at the bottom of the line as well, which will use sound amplifiers to glasses to enhance the voice of the person you are talking to. The company is working to improve live translation by expanding it to support German and Portuguese.
I have tried Gen 2 glasses at the Meta’s Connect event, and there is not much to say about them at first-it is a strong upgrade on paper, but they eventually are still the Meta Ray-Ban glasses, so if you have used the first generation before, you will get the idea to a large extent. You will be able to buy them in styles, skyler and headliner patterns. The first generation glasses will also be available, starting at $ 299.
