Meta wants to teach children how to discover predators online


Meta has A partnership with the non -profit organization was held ChildHelp to create a curriculum that will teach middle school students how to identify online exploitation forms, such as fraud and grooming. The curriculum is fully funded by Meta and is free for any school, father or organization to reach.

Meta says the curriculum consists of lessons plans, interactive classroom activities and videos to help children “move around the world via the Internet and not connected safely.” It was developed with child safety experts from the National Center for missing children and exploiters, the Ministry of Internal Security, the Non -Profit Organization, the University of Bordeaux, and children’s crimes against children’s research.

ChildHelp is an organization that helps neglected and abusive children. It also aims to increase awareness of the abuse of children.

“In Meta, we continue to do everything we can to protect young people on our applications,” said Antigon Davis, the global safety president of Meta, in the press statement. “This protection will be more effective if teenagers also feel confident in discovering possible damage and knowing where to go to help.”
