Rory McIlroy’s bid to join the exclusive club of back-to-back Masters champions begins this week as the first major competition of the 2026 golf season tees off at Augusta National Golf Club.
The star finally claimed the elusive green jacket last year in his 17th attempt to win golf’s most prestigious tournament. His deciding win over Justin Rose also completed the 36-year-old’s career Grand Slam title and ended an 11-year title drought.
McIlroy will now look to win his second consecutive Masters title, matching a feat achieved only by Tiger Woods, Nick Faldo and Jack Nicklaus.
Leading the betting on this year’s tournament is world number one Scottie Scheffler, while LIV golf duo Bryson DeChambeau and 2023 champion Jon Rahm are also strong favorites to claim the winner’s purse of $3.6 million.
Rory McIlroy finally captured his first Masters title with a thrilling playoff victory over Justin Rose last April.
The tournament starts from From Thursday, April 9 to Sunday, April 12. The 2026 Masters will be broadcast in the United States on Prime Video, ESPN, Paramount Plus, CBS, and the Masters website and app.
With multiple platforms sharing coverage at different times, following the 2026 Masters will not be easy for viewers in the United States.
This year’s tournament marks Prime Video’s debut as a golf broadcaster, with the live streaming service providing early coverage from Augusta National Golf Club on Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10.
Paramount Plus will air two hours of early weekend coverage from 12pm-2pm ET, while CBS will exclusively broadcast the afternoon action on Saturday and Sunday, including the deciding final round.
Here’s the full TV schedule (all times ET):
Thursday 9 April
Friday 10 April
Saturday 11 April
Sunday 12 April
the Master’s website and Mobile app Each shot will be broadcast live and free with a simulcast of the television broadcast throughout the four days, making it the simplest way to follow the action from Augusta. Viewers can follow daily coverage starting each morning, including live broadcasts of the Amen Corner and holes 4, 5, 6, 15 and 16. The app can be found in the Apple App Store or on Google Play.
Linear television coverage in the United States is split between CBS, ESPN, and live TV services such as DirectTV (which has a central page dedicated to Masters), Fubo and YouTube TV Holds both channels.
Premium Paramount Plus A subscription will allow you to stream the tournament from Thursday to Sunday. This includes the third and final round with the CBS telecast from 2-7 p.m. ET.
It will be possible to access ESPN’s coverage through ESPN Unlimited Flow package.
ESPN’s streaming platforms have been shaken up in recent months. The sports network now offers two tiers with its direct-to-consumer setup: ESPN Select and ESPN Unlimited. If you want full access to ESPN’s networks and services, such as ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNNews, and ESPN Deportes, plus all ESPN Select content, ESPN Unlimited is the perfect solution. It costs $30 per month.
Paramount Plus has two main subscription plans in the US: Essential for $9 per month and Premium Plus for $14 per month. Both offer coverage for Masters.
The cheaper basic option has ads for on-demand streaming, but lacks live CBS feeds and the ability to download shows to watch later offline. Students may qualify for a 25% discount.
As mentioned above, the most obvious – and cost-effective – way to stream this year’s tournament is via The official website of the Master’s degree and the official tournament app, which will simulcast ESPN and CBS TV coverage for free in the United States.
Things are a little clearer for UK golf fans, who can watch all of this year’s Masters matches live on Sky Sports with a Now membership. The tournament will be broadcast on Sky Sports Golf and Main Events, with additional coverage via the Red Button service.
Viewers in the UK will be able to watch the 2026 Masters on Sky Sports Golf, with wide-ranging coverage of every match day. Subscribers can also stream the event via the Sky Go app. Sky subsidiary Now (formerly Now TV) provides direct access to Sky Sports channels through a Now Sports membership. You can get a day of access for £15 (possibly just for the final round), or sign up for a monthly plan from £35 per month to watch all four days of the tournament.
The 2026 Players Championship Down Under can be watched on Fox Sports via Foxtel. If you’re not a Fox subscriber, your best option is to subscribe to the Kayo Sports streaming service.
A Kayo Sports subscription starts at AU$30 per month and lets you stream on one screen, while the premium tier costs AU$46 per month for simultaneous viewing on up to three devices.
The service gives you access to a wide range of sports, including F1, NRL, NFL, NHL and MLB, and there are no restrictive contracts.
Better yet, if you’re a new customer, you can take advantage of a free one-week trial of Kayo Sports.
Live coverage of the 2026 Masters will be available to watch in Canada on TSN. Cord cutters can also watch TSN’s coverage via the network’s live streaming service, TSN Plus.
