To provide fans with better games experiences, we have got unknown worlds, completely committed to supporting the success of SubNAUTICA in the future. Our collaboration closely with the studio leadership, who were pivotal to create the original Subnautica, to enhance the optimal environment for success 2 successful.

SubNAUTICA 2 was originally planned to launch early access in early 2024, but the schedule has been delayed since then. Krafton made multiple requests to Charlie and Max to resume their roles as a game manager and technical manager, respectively, but both refused to do so. In particular, after Monbreaker’s failure, Krafton asked Charlie to devote himself to the development of Subnautica 2. However, instead of participating in the development of the game, he chose to focus on a personal movie project.
Krafton believes that the lack of a basic leadership has led to frequent interference in the direction and important delay in the general project schedule. The current early access version also reduces the size of the content. We are deeply disappointed by the behavior of previous leadership, and above all, we feel a deep sense of betrayal because of their failure to honor the confidence in it from our fans.
