Apple revealed in WWDC 2025 event It brings visual intelligence, behavior analysis technology, to the iPhone in iOS 26.
Apple says, visible intelligence will make it easier and faster to do more with content on your iPhone, and it works automatically with any application. For example, if you open an application for social media and see a gray jacket, you can use visual intelligence – which can be accessed by pressing the same button that you use to capture a screenshot – to make a search for the image in Google Search and other applications that you use frequently.
Other visual intelligence provides other shortcut options, such as adding a quick event to your calendar, based on the context. Its history, time and location can be extracted and gathered in advance in introducing my calendar. There is also an option to download a chat screenshot for analysis and additional information.
Craig Vidryji, head of software engineering at Apple, said developers can integrate Apple Intelligence into their applications.
“For developers, you can use App App to combine search capabilities from your applications to this experience,” said Federigi on the stage at WWDC. “We also enable visually searching through your most used applications using visual intelligence with the iPhone camera.”
