If you drink decaf, read this: More than 80,000 Keurig capsules recalled


If you are decaffeinated K cup Drinker, this message is for you. The Keurig was recalled McCafé Premium Roasted Decaf Coffee Pods Because it may contain caffeine.

What was remembered?

Keurig Dr Pepper has voluntarily recalled 960 cases of McCafe Premium Roast Decaf Coffee K-Cup pods, according to US Food and Drug Administration note. The reason given for the recall is: “The product is labeled decaf, but may contain caffeine.”

CNET chose McCafé Premium Roast Best K Cupalthough the decaffeinated version is not included. It is not clear at this time how many states have sold the cartons.

A representative for Keurig Dr Pepper told CNET that the recalled K-Cups were sold exclusively on Amazon and that customers have been notified. The recalled products have also been removed from the site.

The recall is ongoing. If you have a recalled product, you can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
